I am an Educational Therapist who supports students with learning differences both in my office as well as in the school setting. My extensive background in education includes six years of classroom teaching as well as training in various intervention programs.

I continually strive to advance my best practices through monthly learning meetings and frequent learning conventions as a member of the Association of Educational Therapists. Additionally, I participate in professional development through the International Dyslexia Association.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

  • MA of Special Education, Educational Therapy concentration
  • Cleared K-8 Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential
  • Trained in Orton-Gillingham reading program for students with dyslexia

Educational Therapy is designed to meet a student's individual needs. My integrative and collaborative approach utilizes multiple modalities, including research and game-based intervention strategies, to capitalize on each client's strengths. By developing genuine relationships with every client, I create a positive learning environment in which clients feel safe to take risks, make mistakes, and celebrate accomplishments. Learning should be engaging, thought-provoking, and enduring.

Let me help your child achieve greater success as a learner.
